There are several constraints related to this site.
The site is greenfield and there are more suitable brownfield sites within Marsham that can come forward for develop.

It has been agreed by the council that there are several constraints with this site include townscape, heritage and ecological impacts and sewerage infrastructure capacity.

The site is also cut of from the village on three sides by public footpath and development of this site may rerouting of these paths.

Overall it is believed that there are more suitable sites within Marsham for residential development.
