GNLP2059

Representation ID: 17911

Received: 06/12/2018

Respondent: Aylsham Town Council

Representation Summary:

Outside the settlement boundary and dangerous access

Full text:

Aylsham Town Council have looked in detail at the additional sites proposed and wish to make the following comments on GNLP 2059.
This site is outside the settlement boundary for Aylsham and as such if agreed will set a precedent for development all around Aylsham. This particular site has very poor access. There are two possible access routes, firstly onto A140 Norwich Road. This is a very busy road and the access is immediately before the roundabout. The other access is Henry Page Road (Not Cawston Road as stated). Again the access will be immediately after the roundabout. Here many vehicles will be turning right to access the roundabout. This will be particularly dangerous. The road network will also be unsuitable for pedestrians wishing to cross into town for schools, shops or bus routes.

Representation ID: 17913

Received: 06/12/2018

Respondent: Aylsham Town Council

Representation Summary:

Aylsham Town Council has reviewed the new sites and wishes to make the following comments regarding GNLP 2060.
The Town Council think that further direct access onto the A140 should be rejected. This is a fast road and adding extra exits can only add to safety issues on this road.
Also the Town Council have NOT nominated the site to the east in the drafyt Neighbourhood Plan.
