The review of sites should be an iterative process, and the Council should engage with developers before they finalise the scoring of sites. This allows clarification and further information to be provided to ensure the most appropriate sites are progressed.
To enable meaningful stakeholder engagement the Council should provide a clear timetable on when the evidence base is scheduled for completion and intended publication dates. Any departure from the timetable and delays to publication dates should be clearly communicated with all stakeholders.

We would be pleased to discuss the opportunity at Spooner Row and how this site is suitable, available and achievable, which we believe would align to the Council’s vision of a Strategic Growth Corridor.
Spooner Row offers an established infrastructure baseline that includes direct access onto the A11, Spooner Row Train Station and local bus services. The settlement has strong foundations for sustainable travel options which offer onwards connections to employment and education destinations. Settlements within the Strategic Growth Corridor should be at the forefront of future growth and should explore defining as ‘Strategic Growth Locations’.
