This land is not suitable for development as it is outside of the agreed development boundary for the village of Wortwell. The owners of this land have had previous planning applications denied by both SNDC and an appeal to the Planning Directorate was rejected.

The owners of the land stated in their planning appeal that they only wished to build a family home on part of the land so that they could move back into the village and be part of the community. The rest of the land was to be used for livestock and horses.

Now this seems to have changed and they now want to develop the whole area. It seems that their only interest is making money from this land rather than the best interests of the village and community.
