I object to this plan as a new housing estate will impact negatively on the character of the village. There is a lot of wildlife in the very area this is planned, including deer and birds going to roost in the field this is proposed in. Not to mention the extra strain this will put on services such as the doctors, dentist, police, fire brigade, schools. Traffic is a huge problem already with the number of speeding vehicles that is not effectively reduced currently and would only get worse.... children play along High Road and the number of proposed houses will increase vehicle traffic in turn increasing the likely hood of a child being involved in an accident. Traffic will increase massively as more people would visit Harleston for amenities.
