I am concerned about the current pressure on services. It is already so difficult to get a gp appointment and the local school is so over subscribed even some children within catchment haven’t got a space.
Also the other reason is the health of the traveller community. Being right on the road, pollution hugely affects health. I work with traveller communities and we know they suffer hugely with health inequalities as a minority group. Placing them next to a polluted road adds to this health risk. Additionally, the free roaming children are at risk from an accident on the road.
